I work hand-in-hand with our clients and our internal teams to deliver on the strategies that enable their success.
As the primary point of contact for a number of our clients, I balance their needs, wants, and priorities with those of our cross-functional teams that make it happen. I work to build out effective strategy and provide ongoing direction on scopes, budgets, prioritization, and timelines. Also, I oversee a lot of our SEO and paid media work.
What You Won’t Learn From My Bio
Every Spring, I travel to Mexico to build homes for families with an unsuitable shelter or no shelter at all. Over the years, I have built eight houses and it has changed my life.
The Fine Print
My career is a tale of two acts. Act one was my career as an animal trainer and presenter. I worked first at The Columbus Zoo, and then at the Flights of Wonder Show at Walt Disney World. In both of these roles, I trained animals to exhibit natural behaviors in order to spark a passion for guests to get excited about conservation. I’ve trained cheetahs, bald eagles, toucans, porcupines, owls, hawks, penguins, snow leopards, lemurs, and more birds than I can even remember. Eventually, I decided that wasn’t the right career for me.
And, while I was in transition I discovered act two — marketing. After leaving Walt Disney World, I returned to Columbus as the Assistant Director for Camp Akita; a popular summer youth camp. In this role, I learned the value of 17% trust (ask me for the story!). And, in the off-season, I ran digital marketing, media and social strategy. Ultimately, this lead me to my current position here at Rattleback. I received my B.S. in Strategic Communications from The Ohio State University.
